Innovation and Recent Advancement In Fashion and Textile

This book deals with latest innovations and advancements in fashion and textile industry focusing on sustainable fashion and environmentally friendly practices viz. Use of Natural Dyes, Use of Artificial Intelligence in Textile Design, Application of technical textiles in various fields, Microencapsulation Finishing in textiles, Protective Textiles, Textiles Engineered Orthoses and Protheses, Digitization of Figurative Motifs and Patterns In Pattu Shawls Of Western Rajasthan Through Design Intervention, Environment sustainability in fashion industry etc. Above all concern topics related to the sustainable issues and its solutions. Dr. Reema Varshney , Professor & Director in Vidya Institute of Fashion Technology, Meerut has been leading the institute from past 11 years. She is a multidisciplinary individual with 25 years of teaching and research experience. She has number of national and international publication to her credit. She has one patent in the field of Plasma Treatment of Textiles under Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry. She is a convener for Fashion Design curriculum in Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University, Lucknow. She is also counselor in IGNOU for MBA course.

Ms. Nimisha Rana Chaudhary is an academician and research scholar at Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra. She has more than 5 years of teaching and research experience. She has completed her Graduation from Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi and Postgraduate from Banasthali Vidyapith and currently pursuing her PhD. in Textiles. She has been awarded as Gold Medalist from Banasthali Vidyapith in her Postgraduate work. She has authored 2 Books, published 3 Research Papers in National and International Journal and presented 3 Research papers in National and International conferences and seminars. She has one patent in the field of Plasma Treatment of Textiles under Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
